Infant HPV prophylactic vaccination in Nigeria
Evaluates a model-based case for an infant HPV prophylactic vaccination program in Nigeria, alongside the standard adolescent schedule.
What we're tracking
- For vaccine-targetable cohorts, infant delivery may have potential to circumvent the difficulties with vaccinating out-of-school girls, depending on effective vaccine efficacy. Empirical data on infant HPV vaccine durability, immunogenicity, and delivery coverage through the routine childhood series are the missing pieces that would enable a policy decision.
